The short version

This website does not use tracking cookies. We do not sell or share your data. Your client files are never seen by us. All AI processing runs on your computer, not our servers.

What this website collects

When you visit sidebarlex.com, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard server data:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time of visit
  • Referring URL

This data is used for security and performance monitoring. It is not used for advertising or sold to third parties. Vercel's privacy policy governs how this data is handled.

Email contact

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

Your client files

The core proposition of Sidebarlex is that your client data never leaves your computer. When you purchase a setup service, the AI model is installed and runs on your machine in your office. We do not have access to your documents, queries, or AI outputs during normal operation.

During the setup session, we access your machine via remote screen share software (e.g., Zoom, TeamViewer) solely to install and configure the software. We do not access, copy, or retain any of your existing files.

Trial environment

If you use the 2-week trial, it runs on our server. Trial users should not upload real client files; use test documents only. Trial accounts are deleted after the trial period ends. No trial data is retained.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may set functional cookies required for website operation.

Third-party services

This website uses the following third-party services:

  • Vercel — website hosting and CDN
  • Google Fonts — font loading (Newsreader, Manrope)
